Good news for all work-at-homies out there like me. Finally, PayPal has come to their senses and has allowed the sending of money to PayPal Philippine accounts. Indeed this is welcome news, and will open up entire new worlds of online opportunities for Filipinos. I remember having been passed up for several online gigs because my PayPal account cannot accept money. The lost opportunities cannot be salvaged, but I look forward to new ones.
I believe that PayPal's recent move is a direct acknowledgment of the huge potential of Filipinos to become a major player in the online marketplace. I hope that more Pinoys stake their claim and find their place in the wonderful world of the web.
